Dear Pastor and Friends,
Amos’ Story: In our last prayer letter, we shared the wonderful story of Amos coming to Christ. We are thrilled to report that his zeal for the Lord has only grown since then. Amos has been faithfully leading his Saturday Bible Club, and recently, he accepted the call to begin a new van route in his neighborhood. Every week, he gathers children and teens, bringing them to church so they, too, can hear the Gospel. What a joy it is to see a young man so quickly take ownership in ministry! Please continue to pray that his fire for the Lord will not fade and that he would grow in wisdom and consistency. Pray also that many souls will come to Christ through this new route. We have seen how God has used the bus ministry here in Tanzania in a powerful way, with hundreds riding the buses every week. Amos’ story is just one more reminder that this ministry is worth every effort.
Visiting Groups: We were blessed to host two groups recently: Marion Avenue Baptist Church and Sun Valley Baptist Church. Their presence was a great encouragement to our people and to our family as well. Together we were able to participate in many different outreaches: soccer service, sharing the Gospel door to door, serving in children’s programs, and helping in a village church. Their energy and willingness to jump in wherever needed left a lasting impact. Please pray that the seeds planted through these outreaches will continue to bear fruit in the months to come.
Crusade in Dar es Salaam: We held our very first crusade in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city. What a joy it was to see the Lord move in such a mighty way! During the event, 228 people trusted Christ as their Saviour. This was an answer to much prayer. Please continue to pray for these new believers, as a local church there is following up on them.
Soccer Service: We also held a special soccer-outreach service that brought over 800 people onto the church property. Entire soccer teams came, eager to receive a soccer ball and pump, but more importantly, they heard a clear message of the Gospel. By the end of the service, 32 individuals had trusted Christ! It was exciting to see how God used something as simple as soccer to draw young men and their friends to hear the Word of God. Please pray for continued opportunities to reach this next generation of Tanzanians through sports and other creative outreaches.
Work Permits and Visas: We are still in need of God’s intervention in the area of work permits and visas. This remains one of the greatest challenges for missionaries here, and it affects our ability to remain and serve long-term. Please continue to pray with us that the right doors will be opened and that everything will be approved in God’s timing.

Jerry & Rachel Wyatt
